Color Theory

The color wheel is used to demonstrate basic color theory and show the relationship between different colors. This tool helps identify colors that naturally go well together and can help you create an attractive color scheme for your home exterior.

Monochromatic palette
Monochromatic schemes feature a single color in varying intensities from light to dark.
Analogous palette
Analogous schemes include a few colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.
Complementary palette
Complementary schemes feature two colors on opposite sides of the color wheel.
Triadic palette
Triadic schemes consist of three colors that are evenly spaced around the color wheel and form a triangle.
