Very Disappointed
We purchased an Entry way door, double patio doors, and a single patio door for our home. Less then a year after we purchased the doors we noticed one of the double patio doors glass shattered. The door is located inside our pool cage so we know that nothing hit the glass to shatter it. Our dealer along with myself both contacted Therma Tru about the shattered glass and we were both told it is not covered under the warranty. Only door defects are covered. I also found out that Therma Tru doesn't assemble the doors, they only supply the pieces. I am very disappointed in this company for not standing behind their product.

Prettier in person!
I chose the 3/4 lite smooth star with full view sidelights and transom, and factory paint finish in Lunar Moth. All I can say is that this door is stunning - the glass is much more beautiful than depicted in any pictures. I am so happy with it. My previous door was rotten and had to be replaced. My house is not grand, so I didn't want anything too fancy, and yet I still wanted to feel like I had something different. The saratoga is perfect! Also, the decorative glass and caming are sandwiched between sheets of flat glass interior and exterior, which insulates as well as makes cleaning a breeze!

No warranty on shattered glass
We had new Therma -Tru French doors installed in October 2022. On Christmas Eve it was about 15 degrees outside and we heard a loud pop. When we went to investigate the glass in one of the doors had shattered. The door connects to a screened in porch and no one was near it so nothing hit the glass. The company refuses to replace the glass saying this is not covered in their warranty. It will cost about $700.00 to replace and install new glass. Just be aware. The glass on these door may spontaneously shatter and it they will not replace it. Just doesn't seem right. I'll certainly warn others to be aware of this when purchasing a new door!

Not worth the money!
I bought an Onyx door that was factory painted, NOT worth the extra money. First, the nail holes around the side light were not touched up, so I had to do that myself. Second, the touch up paint provided did not match the color of the door. My dealer provided two other samples that had the same result, much more gray than black. Third, the rubbery material in between the sidelight glass and door started to seep out significantly, so I had to cut that away. Finally, the ThermaTru rep suggested I paint the entire door frame to cover up the nail holes in the frame since the touch up paint didn't match, and quoted me $700 for a gallon of the paint! Such a headache for so much money, I will never be buying ThermaTru again.

Simply beautiful!
We wanted an opaque door for our new home, but something that was a bit more contemporary than the standard 6-panel option you see everywhere. This door was perfect! We chose Chord glass sidelites instead of the clear glass our builder offered as standard. We love that the Chord glass gives us privacy and has a unique look to it, plus it's flush-glazed which means there’s no frame around the glass – just a simple edge. Last but not least, we're so happy our builder used all pieces and parts from Therma-Tru – the sill, the hinges, the weatherstrip – everything is from the same place so we know it’s all designed to fit together perfectly and last for years to come!

Love our front door!
We had a Therma-tru Pukse door with the Ari Axis glass package installed last year on our 1960s mid-century modern house. We love the extra security and energy efficient fit, but most of all we love how it looks. It’s the perfect door for our home and we get so many compliments from our friends and neighbors. Thanks for helping us to truly make our house our own.

Durable and Beautiful!
We have two of these doors in our home and both are in the garage area (one goes into our home, the other goes from the garage to the outside). These are the entries we use most and the doors have stood up to the wear and tear beautifully – no dents, dings or scratches. Our builder mentioned how incredibly durable Therma-Tru fiberglass doors are and I couldn’t agree more. They’re perfect for our busy family and look great in our home.

Side Door - Control my view
I love this door. Even though it's just a side door, this is the door we walk through all the time. What I love about it is that even though it opens to a dark space for stairs up into my home and down to my basement, I can control light in the space and also what I want to see outside. I love the ability to control that without having to open the door.
