The tax credit program expired during the 2007 tax season.  The information below is still valid for those who need a certificate for claims made prior to 2008.

Not only do Therma-Tru products help protect the environment and save you money on energy costs, but the IRS is giving up to $500 cash back through the Energy Policy Act of 2005, a federal income tax credit allowed under the Internal Revenue Code, Section 25C. IRS Website

Does your Therma-Tru Door Qualify?

While virtually all of our products qualify for the Energy Policy Act of 2005, we recommend downloading the appropriate manufacturer certificate statement to find out exactly what does and doesn't qualify for this program.

Climate Zones

Product eligibility for the IRS tax credit and the Energy Star program are based on the climate zone where a product is installed. Climate zones are shown on the maps below. Please note that the zones in the two maps are not the same. For example, a product can be Energy Star certified and not eligible for a tax credit in the county where you live.
